This tutorial was written for those that have a working knowledge of PSP Supplies Needed PSP - I used 7 Tube of choice Font of choice - I used Mistral dsb flux - bubbles - plug in filter - get it here Toadies - 3D Checkers - plug in filter - get it here My WS_template_4 - get it - here Word art by me - here or here Paper of choice. I used a paper from a free kit by Bel Vidotti Scraps - here Artwork is © Keith Garvey purchased through MPT Internet Explorer users can drag this arrow down the page to keep track of your place ![]() Letz Begin Download and open supplies. Open the WS_template_4. Duplicate and close original. Delete the wacky scraps layer and select the top starburst layer. Selections - select all - selections - float - selections defloat. Open paper 6 - copy and paste as a new layer - position paper where you want it - selections - invert and then hit delete - selections - select none - delete the starburst layer - and select the top thin bar layer. Repeat the same steps using the same paper. Delete the top thin bar layer - select the bottom bar layer - and repeat the same steps. Delete the bottom bar layer and select the middle bar layer. Effects - plug in filters - dsb flux - bubbles - and apply these settings: 50, 5, 75, 100. Select the photo mat layer - selections - select all - selections - float - selections - defloat - and then flood fill #000000. Do not deselect. Copy and paste your tube as a new layer - position where you want it inside the frame - selections - invert - delete - and then select none. Change the layer blend mode to luminance. Select the photo frame layer - and then effects - plug in filters - toadies - 3D checkers - and apply these settings: 4, 27, 16. Add drop shadow: 4, 4, 40, 4, #404040 Use your magic wand - tolerance and feather set at 0 - sample merged checked - and click inside the area between the top starburst and the top thin bar. Selections - modify - expand 4. Add a new raster layer - flood fill #000000 - and then move this layer below the starburst layer. Copy and paste your tube as a new layer - position to the far left side. Selections - select all - selections - float - selections - defloat - add a new raster layer and then flood fill #000000. Select none - move this layer below the tube layer - and then move your tube over to the right a bit (refer to mine if necessary). Add a drop shadow to the tube layer: -4, 6, 40, 4, #202020. Copy and paste word art as a new raster layer - and position. Add a new raster layer and add text. Font I used is mistral - size is 72 - stroke is null - fill is black. Position and add drop shadow: 1, 1, 40, 2, #000000. Add copyright information - crop - save and done Home |
