Halloween

that have a working knowledge of PSP

Supplies Needed

PSP - I used 7
Tube of choice or the one out of the kit
Font of choice - or the one I used - Handwriting - here

Letz Begin

Download and open supplies. Open my template - duplicate and close original. Delete the wacky scraps layer - and select the large oval layer. Selections - select all - selections - float. Open paper 6 - and resize 600 x 600. Copy and paste as a new layer. Selections - invert - delete. Select none. Delete the oval layer - and select the thick frame layer. Repeat the same steps - except this time use paper 7. Delete the thick frame layer - and select the thin frame layer. Set the foreground color to #596937 and the background color to #BEBF86. Change the background color to gradient with these settings: angle - 45 - repeats - 5 - invert gradient box not checked. Add a new raster layer - and flood fill with the gradient. Select none - delete the thin frame layer - and select the halloween layer. Repeat the same steps. Delete the halloween layer - and select the top left circle layer - repeat the same steps with both the top left circle layer and the bottom right circle layer. Don't forget to delete the orginal layers. Select the mat layer. Selections - select all - selections - float. Change the foreground color to #000000 - and the background color to #404040. Change the background to gradient with the same settings as before except this time the invert gradient box is checked. Add a new layer - and flood fill with the background gradient. Do not deselect

Open the creepy tree - copy and paste as a new layer - position where you want it - selections - invert and delete. Do not deselect. Open the castle - copy and paste as a new layer - resize 50% - position where you want it - and hit delete. Select none. Sharpen and add drop shadow: 4, 4, 40, 4, #000000. Select the creepy tree layer - colorize: hue and saturation both 0 - sharpen and add same drop shadow. Select each one of the paper and flood fill layers - and add same drop shadow. Open the full moon. Copy and paste as a new layer - resize 30% - position just above the top left circle - change the layer blend mode to soft light - duplicate - and move the duplicated layer just above the bottom right circle. Sharpen both full moon layers - and add same drop shadow. Copy and paste the creepy tree again. Resize 55% - and postion just above the top left full moon. Use your selection tool - or eraser - and remove the bottom part of the tree. Add drop shadow: 1, 1, 60, 3, #000000. Open the gcloud - copy and paste as a new layer - flip - resize 90% - position up above the halloween word art - and move just above the background layer - position again exactly where you want it - and sharpen

Hide the background layer - select one of the top layers - merge visible. Unhide the background layer - and move the merged layer down a bit. Open mortella - copy and paste as a new layer - resize 75% - position - sharpen - and add drop shadow: 0, -6, 30, 4, #000000 - and then again - but this time: 4, 4, 30, 4, #000000. Open the bat - copy and paste as a new layer - resize 20% - and add drop shadow: 4, 4, 30, 4, #000000. Paste again - mirror - postion - resize and add same drop shadow. Add a new layer - and add text. Font I used is Handwriting - size is 72 - stroke is #CCE498 width 2 - fill is black. Add drop shadow: 1, 1, 60, 2, #000000. Add copyright information - delete the background layer - merge visible - crop - save and done
