Internet Explorer users can drag this arrow down the page to keep track of your place

Let's Begin

Unzip and open supplies. We'll open the animated spider in Animation Shop later. Open a new image 600 x 600 white background. Open the scrap kit by Fee. Copy and paste the AF moon B H as a new layer. Resize 80 and colorize - hue: 161 saturation: 28. Close the scrap kit. Copy and paste the haunted house as a new layer. Add drop shadow: 1, 1, 50, 5, black. Postion in the center of the canvas and then position the moon where you want it (refer to mine throughout if necessary). Copy and paste the spooky tree as a new layer. Resize 90 and colorize - hue: 29 saturation: 47. Position over the tree in the haunted house tube. Now I selected the haunted house layer making it active, and then I erased some of the tree on the left side being careful not to erase any part of the "enter if you dare" sign. I also zoomed in and erased the part of the tree up by the chimney (refer to mine). This step is optional - you can leave it like it is if you like. Now select the spooky tree layer again and add same drop shadow as before

Duplicate the spooky tree layer - resize 90 and then mirror. Move this layer below the moon layer and position. Copy and paste the brick as a new layer and position. Copy and paste the black cat as a new layer. Bring to the top. Resize 40. Add drop shadow and position. Copy and paste the bat as a new layer. Resize 40 and rotate right 20. Sharpen - add drop shadow and position. Duplicate bat layer. Mirror - resize 90 - sharpen - add drop shadow and position. Copy and paste Popeye Wong tube. Resize 50 - add drop shadow and position

Select the brick layer making it active. Select your eraser: shape round - size 20 - hardness 50 - opacity 25 - step 25 - density 100 - build up checked and erase lightly just around the straight edges to give it some softness and curve

Add a new raster layer and bring to the top. Add your text. My font size is 50. Stroke is white (line width 2) fill is black. Add drop shadow: 1, 1, 70, 3 black. Add copyright information - crop and merge all layers. If you don't want to add the animated spider - you can save your tag as a png file and you're done - but if you want to add the animation then follow the steps below

Duplicate merged layer 5 times so that you now have 6 layers. Save as a psp file. Open in Animation Shop and Ctrl A to select all layers. Open the spider animation provided in supplies zip and Ctrl A to select all layers. Edit - copy and then back to your tag and edit paste into selected frame. Click on animation - frame properties - change the display time to 40 and save as gif

That's it! You're done. Enjoy your new tag!
