Will Work For Snow

This tutorial was written for those that have a working knowledge of PSP Supplies Needed PSP - I used 7 Animation Shop Font of choice or the one I used Generic Uncials Snowcapped - here VDL Adrenaline - snowflakes - get it here Scrap kit © Frosted Illusions - Scraps by Lisa - purchased at Creative Scraps - Mr. Frosty. You can visit Lisa's blog here Tagger Template #12 by me - included in my supplies Word art by me - included in my supplies Snow bank by me - included in my supplies My supplies here or here Internet Explorer users can drag this arrow down the page to keep track of your place Letz Begin Download and open supplies. Open tagger temp #12. Duplicate and close original. Delete the credit layer. Open Mr Frosty Bow7 - copy and paste as a new layer - and then move below the large flake layer. Rename this layer - bow. Add drop shadow: 10, 10, 50, 5, #091B83. Select the large flake layer - selections - select all - selections - float - selections - defloat. Open Mr Frosty Paper1 - resize 500 x 500. Copy and paste as a new layer. Selections - invert - and then hit delete. Selections - select none - and then sharpen. Rename this layer - flake 1. Delete the large flake layer. Select the middle flake layer and follow the same steps above - except this time copy and paste Mr Frosty Paper10 (resized 500 x 500) - sharpen twice and add same drop shadow as before. Rename this layer - flake 2. Delete middle flake layer - and select the circle layer. Follow the same steps again - except this time copy and paste Mr Frosty Paper2 (resized 500 x 500) - and then sharpen once. Rename this layer - let it snow. Delete the circle layer - and select the circle frame layer. Follow the same steps again - except this time copy and paste Mr Frosty Paper9 (resized 500 x 500) and sharpen once. Effects - 3D effects - inner bevel - and apply these settings: 4, 50, 2, 0, 30, white, angle 315, 35, 60. Add same drop shadow as before. Rename this layer - frame. Delete the circle frame layer and select the flake frame layer. Selections - select all - selections - float - selections - defloat - add a new raster layer and flood fill white. Selections - select none. Sharpen twice. Rename this layer - frame 2 - and delete the flake frame layer Open the snow bank - copy and paste as a new layer and position (refer to mine if necessary). Select the bow layer making it active - use your selection tool to carefully select any of the bow sticking out below the snow bank and then hit delete. Open Mr Frosty Ice2 - resize 30% - copy and paste as a new layer and move between the let it snow layer and the frame layer. Position near the top. Use your selection tool to carefully select any of the ice sticking out above the frame layer and then hit delete. Sharpen and add drop shadow: 4, 4, 50, 5, #091B83. Open Mr Frosty2. Copy and paste as a new layer - bring to the top - resize 50% - position - and add drop shadow: 2, 2, 40, 5, #091B83. Copy and paste the supplied word art as a new layer or use your own. Position on sign. Copy and paste Mr Frosty Flowers1, 2, 3 and 4. Resize 30% - position - and add same drop shadow as before Add a new raster layer and move to the top. Select your text tool - font is Generic Uncials Snowcapped - size is 72 - stroke is null - fill is pattern with Mr Frosty Paper9 selected. Type out your name and click OK. Effects - 3D effects - inner bevel and apply the same settings as before. Add drop shadow: 4, 4, 50, 5, #091B83 - selections - select none and then position. Add a new raster layer and then add copyright info. If you wish to add animation follow the steps below. If not - crop - merge - save and done To animate - hide flake 1 (large flake layer) and all layers above. Select one of the layers below and merge - merge visible - rename this layer - 1 and hide. Hide the flake 1 layer as well and unhide all layers above. Select one of the layers above and merge - merge visible - rename this layer - 2 and hide. With both layers 1 and 2 hidden - select the flake 1 layer and duplicate twice. Hide the top two duplicated layers and select the bottom flake 1 layer. Selections - select all - selections - float - selections defloat. Effects - plug in filters - vdl adrenaline - snowflakes and apply these settings: 50, 0, 15, 100, 0, white, random seed 0 and click OK. Add drop shadow: 10, 10, 50, 5, #091B83. Hide this layer and select the next layer up. Repeat the same steps above - except this time change the random seed to 500. Add same drop shadow. Hide this layer and select the next layer up. Repeat the same steps above - except this time change the random seed to 1000. Add same drop shadow. Selections - select none. Unhide all layers. Select layer 1 and duplicate twice. Select layer 2 and duplicate twice. You should now have a total of 9 layers - 3 of each. Select the bottom layer (layer 1) - and hide the top two duplicates of each layer. Merge - merge visible - and hide this layer. Select the next layer up from the bottom - unhide the next layer up of each duplicated layer - and then merge - merge visible. Hide this layer. Unhide the last three layers above and then merge - merge visible. Unhide all layers and select the bottom layer. Crop and save as a psp file. Open in Animation Shop and save as gif. Done Home
